Congratulations on winning the 2007 Detroit Ultimate Performer Sales and Leadership Challenge. Tell us a little more about yourself.
In 2003, I launched a new company, Alliance Payment Solutions, to streamline the processing of mailed & electronic payments to commercial businesses, financial institutions, non-profit organizations and government municipalities. While I also continue to focus on business growth, I’ve experienced how important it is to mentor, train and motivate my staff so we can provide outstanding work and excellent customer service each and every day. Prior to starting Alliance, I was vice president of Diverse Computer Marketers. I am a proud graduate of Michigan State University. I earned a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Finance. I enjoy volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lansing. I’ve had a match for over six years and find it one of my most rewarding experiences. I’m a blessed husband and father of two daughters. I also enjoy the freedom of being a licensed private pilot.

Any other nuggets of wisdom you'd like to tell people about?
- Spend time each day evaluating where you are at in your life personally and professionally. Are you where you want to be? You have to challenge yourself each day to step outside of your comfort zone. You alone can make anything happen.
- Set goals for yourself. Once a goal is set dedicate yourself and pursue it. If you just can’t seem to get there stop and evaluate the strategy not the goal.
- Always visualize your outcome. Whether it is a big meeting or winning the Ultimate Sales and Leadership Challenge, the more time you spend visualizing the outcome the closer you are to obtaining your goals.
